ThinkLessStress is an app for developing the habits that protect mental health and promote better mental wellbeing which reduces stress.
The app teaches you evidence-based techniques in strengthening your ability to improve the way you respond to stress by building habits.
Habits are repeated actions which have become automated responses to drive behaviours.
Neuroplasticity is the rewiring of neural connections in the brain when we develop new skills. These connections strengthen as the repeated actions to develop the new skill become automated responses.
These automated responses (habits) drive new behaviours.
The coaching techniques you learn and practice through the app work with neuroplasticity to help you not only build new habits in mental fitness but also sustain these habits to drive new behaviours.
There are 12 topics in total in the app to choose from with educational content and activities to complete. There are 11x 4-week topics which are all self-paced. There is an option to book online coaching sessions alongside working through the app topics.
