The amygdala is a brain region.
The amygdala responds to stress, and becomes more active when we're stressed.
Research tells us that reducing activity in the amygdala should help manage stress levels.
Mental fitness is about reducing activity in the amygdala by increasing activity in the pre-frontal cortex.
The pre-frontal cortex is responsible for executive functioning e.g. strategic thinking, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving.
Now you can have support to increase your mental fitness at your fingertips for improving how you respond to stressful situations.

You are good at what you do, however you need a way to work smarter rather than harder. You have lots of spinning plates with all the things you are involved with, but sometimes it's difficult to have a sense of feeling in control of your day.
Time goes so quickly that you feel overwhelmed with the amount of things you need to do with the amount of time you have available. Everyone depends on YOU showing up and giving your time to all of your various projects.
You love doing what you are doing...but it's not exactly sustainable! You started with good intentions of having a work-life balance but then life took over and you now feel you need to make some changes to experience some kind of shift. You feel the need to take back control of your day rather than your thoughts driving a state of stress and overwhelm whenever you turn the corner into the unknown. These are all common problems to have, right?
The easiest way to figure out how to move forwards from here with control over how you respond to the unknown, is to learn how you can increase your ability to maintain a state of calm during the chaos while making choices in how you want to respond to difficult situations.
People who manage to sustain a life of less stress and overwhelm, all do one thing in common. They prioritise their wellbeing. Why? The only way to achieve what they want to do is by switching their mindset around productivity. Wellbeing drives productivity. Improving your wellbeing is about creating habits for behaviour change and using evidence-based techniques which work with the brain. They understand how the brain seeks reward to create habits. They master the tools and techniques which maximise their daily functioning without burning out. They identify their most productive times in the day. They know how the brain senses adversity as a threat, and therefore how to use reframing difficult situations as a challenge they can overcome. They know how to avoid overthinking by setting time aside to analyse their thinking patterns. They have focus and attention to increase productivity using brain hacks to maintain their concentration level.

Like many people seeking a life with less stress, due to daily stress impacting my life in previous years, I worked with a vision of helping people to discover the tools and techniques I personally use to experience a life of less stress and overwhelm by improving how I respond to stress.
The struggle for me was finding the tools and techniques which actually worked for reducing stress in my life. I lived in a cycle of unhelpful thoughts and worry about things which were never going to happen. I lacked energy and motivation to prioritise my health and wellbeing.
When I realised I could get off the hamster wheel of daily stress by making the changes I needed to my thinking, using the techniques I am going to share with you in the app, everything shifted. After I began experiencing less stress and overwhelm using the techniques I had learnt along the way, I developed my approach by combining coaching together with evidence-based techniques in neuroscience. This coaching approach has enabled clients to realise these techniques work with the brain to drive sustainable change.”
Seeing my clients experiencing the transformations in their life using my evidence-based tools and techniques, I realised I had created a coaching platform which has evolved into an app.
